The Villa Hotel

Overall, fantastic for what we paid. Breakfast - 10 / 10 Service - 10 / 10 Value - 10 / 10 There was a small issue on arrival, which left a sour taste - But the service afterwards and every other aspect was perfect. I dealt with the lady owner, with constant and precise communication back and forth.. She was very communicative and kind and asked "Do you want a parking space & what time will we arrive".. I specified 'Yes' and that we would be there for between 6:30 and 7pm... She responded along the lines of "Thank you for letting us know, and look forward to seeing us between 6:30 and 7pm".. We arrive approx 6:45pm and the (very small) car park was crammed full. It had a washing line going across the shared access area, which my car ariel knocked down, whilst trying to maneuver my car enough to turn it back around.. He came out immediately and made it clear that he wasn't happy.. I said "sorry mate I think I'm in the wrong area, as I was told you have a proper car park with a designated space for me".. He replied "Yes this is the correct carpark, but parking is on a first come first serve basis and im too late".. This was a different tone to what I had heard from the lady.. And so, after a long tiring day - I snapped back, and found myself arguing with the guy about a car parking spot.. Silliness really, but our personalities clashed and we both rubbed each other up the wrong way. Eventually, this was rectified. Cars were shuffled about, and that was that.. We went up to our room and everything else was clearly above and beyond what you would expect, of a cheap blackpool B&B.. Upon leaving, I shook the guys hand and there were no hard feelings - I apologised for my part in the argument. I didnt recieve an apology back, but he was civil and friendly. Ultimately - They are very genuine and hard working people that run an honest business, in a very difficult and competetive industry.. I feel that if people are made aware of genuine constructive feedback - Then this can only improve the business moving forward.. The room was clean. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. And the location suited us down to a Tee, as we had a day by the Tower and a day at the Pleasure beach If and when we return to blackpool - I would return :) Thank you.

Fantastic value for money...we visit Blackpool every 6 weeks or so yo see our Grandsons...we'll definitely be back here..lovely and clean , very friendly, fabulous breakfast and secure parking! Fantastic value
